WHO DEVELOPED THE TECHNIQUE

Sekhem-Seichim Reiki (SSR) was developed by Patrick Zeigler in the early 1980s. His journey into this healing system began when he experienced a spontaneous spiritual initiation inside the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. During this profound experience, he connected with an energy he later identified as Sekhem, an ancient Egyptian healing force. This force is feline in nature and is divine feminine, in power.

Zeigler later integrated elements of Seichim (a form of energy healing with roots in ancient Egyptian wisdom), Reiki (the Japanese healing system developed by Mikao Usui), and other mystical practices to create Sekhem-Seichim Reiki (SSR). This system is unique because it blends the structured hand positions of Reiki with the fluid, multidimensional, and heart-centered energy of Sekhem and Seichim.

SSR continues to be practiced worldwide as a holistic healing method that works on multiple levels—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—while drawing on the wisdom of Ancient Egyptian spiritual traditions and modern energy healing techniques.
